Two in September!

Leo was two years old on September 7, 2009. He had a wonderful little celebration in a local park with all his friends. The festivities were concluded by tackling all but one balloon (guarded steadfastly by Sari who Leo shared his party with as they are just one day apart). The balloons, cupcakes and blowing out the candles were highlights of the morning.

The past two years have gone by so quickly despite all of the sleep deprivation!! We love our little man so much and have enjoyed every minute of watching him grow up. He is now a big boy, sleeping in his own big boy bed and speaking in full sentences. He has a particular passion for Australian birds and animals and recently enjoyed a boys-only camping trip with his dad where they warmed Leo's milk over the campfire. Another recent highlight was a 2-week trip to Hawaii where Leo got to spend time with his Canadian family who he adores and misses very much. Leo is very very excited to share everything he knows with his little brother who is due to arrive in mid-November.

Leo is 22 months old!!!

Leo is so much fun these days. He is mister personality and loves to make others laugh and have a laugh himself!! He speaks in 4 and 5 word sentences and loves to give his mummy and daddy orders. Leo is very excited about becoming a big brother in November.

Leo - Almost 17 months

A lot has changed for Leo lately. Leo is looking like such a big boy with his new glasses and hair cut!!! He is speaking and understanding more and more each day. He has also been swimming a lot to try and stay cool in the summer heat.

CHRISTMAS 2008

Leo spent his second Christmas at the beach with both sets of his grandparents. He loved every minute of it!!! His favourite part was playing in the sand and making MUD. He also learned lots of news words such as 'uh oh' and 'night night'. We are looking forward to spending lots of summer weekends at the beach.
